This formula is the 2x mix. What this means is that it has twice the amount of the mineral mixture (calcium, potassium, magnesium) normally found in the Regular Soap. This does NOT mean that the liquid is thicker! The consistency of this product is exactly the same for regular soap as it is for 2x or 3x formulations. Now even though the liquid is not thicker than the regular (1x) soap, you still don’t need to use as much of it because of the extra dose of minerals in the product. So if you use the 2 oz of the regular soap with water in a 32 oz (spray) bottle for medium strength cleaning, now you can use half the amount with the water (i.e. 1 oz to 30 oz of water). It just helps make the product last longer before reordering!
